ITS 0950 - Information Technology Fundamentals

4 Credit Hours

This course is designed to familiarize students with computers, operating systems, networking, and computer security. Students will learn fundamental concepts of computer hardware and software and networks. Additional concepts presented include computer and network security fundamentals and operating system fundamentals. Coursework will incorporate activities that introduce students to basic problem solving and critical thinking skills that are necessary when troubleshooting computers. Prerequisite(s): None.
