ITS 2350 - Security and Privacy

4 Credit Hours

This course will provide an overview of privacy and security issues faced by IT professionals. This course provides students with the fundamentals of network security, including compliance and operational security; threats and vulnerabilities; application, data and host security; access control and identity management; and cryptography. The course will also cover topics within information security, including psychological approaches to social engineering attacks, Web application attacks, penetration testing, data loss prevention, cloud computing security, and application programming development security. Prerequisite(s): ITS 2300 .
