CJ 4150 - Courts and Social Policy

This course is designed to present the role the courts pursue in determining social policy as it relates to criminology. Emphasis is directed toward the political and social inputs that influence judicial decision making and the role of democracy and punishment in the courts. Prerequisite(s): CJ 2995 or permission of program chair or dean.
