CJ 1450 - Introduction to Law Enforcement

4 Credit Hours

This course provides an overview of policing and its evolution throughout modern history. Students will explore organizational and managerial concepts used to organize and operate police departments. The latest techniques being used by police departments to combat and prevent crime will also be explored. Legal and ethical considerations particular to law enforcement will also be presented. Prerequisite(s): None.
