ANP 1040 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I

4 Credit Hours

This course is a study of the organization and structure along with several systems of the human body. Cells and tissues, integumentary, musculoskeletal, nervous, sensory and endocrine systems will be taught and examined in the lab. The course is designed to enable students to understand common health problems as they relate to the various systems. Emphasis is placed on correct spelling, pronunciation and the definitions and use of medical terminology. Students can expect out-of-class activities such as assigned reading of technical material, written assignments, and preparation for quizzes and exams. Prerequisite(s): None.
